Whitney Thompson is the first-ever full figured model to win America’s Next Top Model and a 2010 ambassador for the National Eating Disorder Association: Whitney Thompson.
Of her time on ANTM, Whitney said, “I’m here because I do feel good about myself, and I want other women to feel better about themselves. I honestly think girls will look up to me and say, ‘I can do that, I can be that.’”

Since winning the reality competition in 2008, Whitney landed major campaigns with Saks Fifth Avenue, Torrid and Converse. She is also an entrepreneur, launching her own jewelry and candle line called Supermodel.

Whitney was named the “Full Figure Runway Model of the Year” during the 2010 Full Figure Fashion Week., and she is signed with Wilhelmina Models.

Born and raised in Atlantic Beach, Fla., Whitney attended the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and Fletcher Senior High School, where she was President of the Chess Club and the Marine Science Club, a member of the Tennis Team and water girl for the football team. Her classmates voted her “Class Historian” and “Most Photogenic.” No, duh!
